Wild Weather in Bolivia

Cochabamba

Simon Bolivar, the "liberator" of South America and Bolivia's namesake. A statue dedicated to "las heroinas" (heroines) of Cochabamba, who defended the city against attack in 1812. A roadside shrine for the victims of a car accident (the white balls are hail left from a recent storm).

Sucre (The historic capital of Bolivia)
